Crack Legion, headed by Alvin Ardiente of Labangon, held on to their first day lead to emerge champions in the Governor Gwendolyn Garcia Airsoft Championships yesterday at the Prime Orion Grounds at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
Crack Legion won eight games in total with an average of 8.000 to emerge champions.
SAAT of Raymond Priaguila finished second place with an average of 7.500 while the Guadalupe Airsoft Team, which dominated the series legs, landed at third place.
Crack Legion accomplished most of their missions in the battle field, including their win over the Tango Down in the 96th match, which they completed in six minutes and 30 seconds. This victory played a key role in their championship run.
The Toledo Airsoft Group, headed by Romeo Yu, finished fourth place followed by Zarex Bo-oc's West Rasmussen Team at fifth.
The winners received trophies and medals.
Meanwhile, organizers revealed that the 5th season of the Governor’s Cup will kick off in the second week of October.
